Purpose
The model TBKD – BORDERS is used to vertically move a system of blind fabric drapes, with overall weight in proportion to the mechanism’s payload.
Later all mechanisms are used for masking purposes whenever this is required by the Director, as well as for suspending a cyclorama screen in coordination with the backstage fly bars.
In most cases it is used to suspend BORDERS for masking the right and left backstage. Borders keep the audience from seeing the backstage, while allowing visual contact and access from the backstage to the stage.

Technical Description
One of the construction principles of this system is the simple and easy movement of its position, as well as the regulation of its individual parts towards all directions.
Manually operated systems pull small loads and in most cases their accessories are fabrics. They compensate the load with a proportional counterweight tied to the handling rope. The difference between load weight and counterweight is about 5-10 kg
TBΚD – BARRIERS comprise a 3-10m bar and a black non-transparent fabric with little folding in narrow vertical stripes of 1-2m width and 4,5-8m height with little folding.
The height of accessories is regulated with a simple vertical movement of the rope, which is fixed with an automatic navy safety key onto the floor of the stage.

The fabrics of this system move vertically upwards & downwards, fold and rotate upon the user’s demand. The mechanism is accompanied by high-quality fireproof fabrics (MOLETON type) with up to ½ folding.
